Today in Research

First, let me say congratulations on completing your first "professional
presentation" of research. While the case study exercises were on a very
miniature level, many of you mastered observation and interview techniques.

Some things that everyone needs to watch out for in the future include:
a. Use font that is easily readable from the back row
b. Watch your colors
c. Don't do animations for the sake of it
d. Please introduce yourself and your project
e. Pause to give the audience time to absorb your visual aid (silence is
powerful)
f. Continue to work on eliminating uh, um, and from your presentations.

Finally, I would love for you to comment here how this assignment affected
you, so I can complete my case study! [?]

In class today, we will focus on data collection and raw data reports.

I look forward to seeing you there!

This helped me realize the difference age can contribute to nervous mannerisms, so it helped my project.

This assignment really helped me to see how a professional case study is conducted. Although it was very small and basic, I think that's what we needed to understand these sorts of presentations.
Also, I loved doing this Act of Kindness (even though I had do some extra work!), mostly because it made me feel good.

I am not really sure how it helped me since I'm not to that point yet. I think it will help since I will know what colors to use, or what font, or what to do and what not to do. It helped me now so that I won't mess up later.

This assignment effected me by showing me that random acts of kindness can be pleasant to both the giver and the receiver and may have positive short and long term affects that slowly brighten this dim world.

This assignment made me interact with others in a positive way. I had to do an act of kindness and observe the person's reaction. I suppose i learned about other peoples responses and how an act of kindess effects people.

Well, partially because of this assignment, I was induced to complete more
nice tasks for the subject, my um...girlfriend. However, this project was also conducive to learning...I know now that my presentation skills still require much work

Hmmmm, interesting question. I felt confident going into the presentation. The case study didn't require to much time commitment, so I enjoyed it. Lets bring on some more case studies. Just keep the amount of required work to a minimal and I will be happy.

The assignment exposed me to public speaking. Although, I was unconformable with the speaking, it helped me in a positive way.
